FAQs
What if I have never danced before?
We offer dance classes for individuals of all experience levels. Each session includes beginner-friendly classes designed for those who are new to this style of dance, returning after a break, or completely new to dance altogether.
We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone can embrace their inner dancer. If you’re unsure which class to take or have any questions, feel free to email us—we’re happy to help!
What should I wear?
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and allows you to move freely! Some dancers prefer leggings and a fitted top, while others enjoy wearing leotards, bodysuits, or flowy pieces. For floorwork classes, knee pads are highly recommended. Heels are always optional—socks, bare feet, or sneakers work just as well!
Are there performance opportunities for dancers?
Yes! Cabaret Atelier produces showcases where dancers in the NOVA performance track can apply to be part of the cast and perform in group or solo acts.
Additionally, dancers have opportunities to perform at Vaudvillingham and other local events to gain stage experience. We encourage our students to explore performing when they feel ready!
What if I’m nervous to perform?
Performing is completely optional! While we encourage dancers to challenge themselves and grow, there is never any pressure to step on stage. Our classes are designed to build confidence, whether you want to perform or simply dance for fun.
What is your refund policy?
All class and event purchases are final—we do not offer refunds. If you’re unable to attend a class you’ve booked, please check our rescheduling options or reach out to discuss possible alternatives.
